All rooms are recently renovated and feature air conditioning, ceiling fan, lights and mood lighting. Each room has its own toilet and shower – fed with pure desalinated hot and cold water courtesy of the Coca Cola factory which is incidentally, the only Coke factory on the planet that desalinates its own water. Wifi internet reception is clear throughout the guesthouse and in every room.
Rooms can be set up for couples, shared rooms for friends or single person. We offer single rooms, twin and doouble rooms and upon special request three and four bed rooms.
Honeymoon and romantic arrangements
Upon special arrangement, extra special decorations can be arranged for those on honeymoon or just wanting something that looks especially romantic. You can spend an amazing honeymoon on the white beaches with your spouse or your beloved.
The dining areas in our Maldivian Guesthouse
Our Maldivian Guesthouse: Cokes Surf Shack has two dining areas. Our open air upstairs dining area features the islands most picturesque view of the sea across to Kuda Viligili island. Dolphins of several species including Spinner and Bottlenose, patrol this stretch of water daily, surfing the waves and flipping and spinning out of the water.
Our second dining area is outside right on the sandy beach. Whether under the stars or by nigtht or under our shady outdoor hut by day, its the perfect view of tropical paradise in the pure warm tropical breeze.
Our Maldives Guesthouse: Try local Maldivian food
Meals are served buffet style, with the quantities you need after an active day e.g. after checking out some of the popular surfing spots in Maldives close-by. Fresh fish, various rice dishes, curries and salads feature; along with steamed vegetables and the local baked goods, often followed with a desert. Breakfasts include cereal along with the traditional Maldivian breakfast of Roshi (the local family made flat bread), Masuni (a delicious blend of Coconut, Tuna, Onion and Lime), eggs, and fresh tropical fruit. The food here is typically very lean and healthy, with minimal saturated fat.
In our typical Maldivian Guesthouse: Cokes Surf Shack meals are often prepared in the traditional way and guests are welcome to join in with the cooking. This can be a great way to learn some new recipes and even share some cooking tips from your own country, along with having a great time hanging out with the local ladies.
